This package is best used for close-range communications between groups or individuals.  Depending on the terrain and environment, these radios have a range of up to 2 miles.  They work great for camping, hiking, fishing, vehicle convoy trips, and other close-proximity outings.  In addition, these are also compatible with store-purchased FRS radios. If you already have a couple but need more for a larger group, this package would work perfectly!
